After decades of success in leadership, organizational effectiveness, and talent management, Mark Tamer is now working on a few select projects.
His broad range of accomplishments include the development of two dozen programs in human performance improvement, sales and customer service training, communication, and leadership. Mark has a record of impacting the bottom line by identifying valid performance gaps, defining novel solutions, and applying practical management to achieve results.
Prior to establishing MGT Performance Improvement, LLC, Mark held leadership positions at AT&T, United Artists, Advanced Results Company, Pennzoil, and NDC Health Information Services. In addition, he has served as an external senior consultant with Systemation, BlessingWhite, and Wilson Learning.
At NDC, Mark created a client university composed of interactive learning materials distributed through a blend of learning solutions including simulations, e-learning, and instructor-led events. At AT&T, Mark coached a team of project managers, business and systems analysts, and instructional designers to create an array of curricula for general and commercial markets sales and support staff.
Partnering with some of the most successful companies in diverse industries, Mark has delivered more than 7,000 workshops, executive coaching sessions, seminars, and speaking engagements in all 50 states and 37 countries. He is the author of numerous articles on business communications and management. His books include Virtual Teams: Working Together Apart, and Presentations A to Z: The Handbook for Presenters.
Mark is a veteran speaker, executive coach, and consultant. He still occasionally conducts business symposiums, workshops, and executive coaching sessions on agile leadership and communication.
