Mark M. Tamer brings with him more than two decades of success in training
and organizational effectiveness. His broad range of accomplishments
include the development of over two dozen programs in human performance
improvement, sales and customer service training, communication, and
leadership. Mark has a record of impacting the bottom line by identifying
valid performance gaps, defining novel solutions, and applying practical
management to achieve results.
Prior to establishing MGT Performance
Improvement, LLC, Mark held leadership positions with AT&T, United Artists,
Advanced Results Company, Pennzoil, and NDC Health Information Services.
While at NDC, Mark
created a client university composed of interactive learning materials
delivered via e-learning, instructor-led events, and blended learning.
At AT&T, he coached a team of project managers, business and systems
analysts, and instructional designers to create an array of curricula for
general and commercial markets sales and support staff. MGT clients
benefit from his vast experience in leadership and professional
development.
Mark has delivered over 5,000 workshops, private coaching sessions,
seminars, and speaking engagements in all 50 states and 12 countries. He is the author of numerous
articles on business communications and management. His books include Virtual Teams: Working Together Apart,
and Presentations A to Z.
Mark holds a PhD in
Organizational Learning, a Master's in Information and Learning
Technology, and a Bachelor's in Secondary Education. He is a member of
the International Society for Performance Improvement, the American
Society for Training and Development, and the Project Management
Institute.
Mark is a veteran
speaker, coach, and consultant. He is currently conducting business
symposiums and workshops on management, communication, and leadership. He lives on commercial airliners and at home in Denver.
